EVENT PLANNER: Volunteer
Supporters of Woodland Hills Rec Center is seeking a volunteer Event Planner to organize and execute fundraising events, and community outreach programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and skilled in creating memorable, impactful experiences on a non-profit budget.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team to plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of events, including galas, silent auctions, donor appreciation nights, and virtual webinars.
Help develop event timelines, budgets, and marketing strategies.
Negotiate with vendors, and manage logistics. Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
