EVENT PLANNER: Volunteer

Supporters of Woodland Hills Rec Center is seeking a volunteer Event Planner to organize and execute fundraising events, and community outreach programs.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and skilled in creating memorable, impactful experiences on a non-profit budget.
​Responsibilities:
​Work with a team to plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of events, including galas, silent auctions, donor appreciation nights, and virtual webinars.
​Help develop event timelines, budgets, and marketing strategies.
​Negotiate with vendors, and manage logistics.  Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers.
​ ​Qualifications:
​​Excellent organizational and project management skills.
​Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
​Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
​Experience in the non-profit sector is a plus.
