Supporters of Woodland Hills Rec. Center began as a group of Shadow Ranch Park supporters in 2010. This unincorporated group sponsored SpringFest at Shadow Ranch Park. The 2025 SpringFest was the 14th SpringFest. We incorporated in 2014 as Friends of Shadow Ranch and Woodland Hills Parks Inc. a 501(c)(3). In 2018 our name was changed to Supporters of Shadow Ranch and Woodland Hills Parks Inc. a 501(c)(3). Under new leadership in 2022 we began to sponsor Halloween and Spring Festivals at Woodland Hills Recreation Center and sponsor Tennis Tournaments at Knapp Ranch Park in 2024. In early 2024 we began to support and sponsor the three-day event “Salute to Recreation Family Festival” at Northridge Park in the San Fernando Valley and operate as Supporters of Salute to Recreation a DBA. We operate as Supporters of Shadow Ranch Park, DBA and Supporters of Woodland Hills.
